Micro Needling

Micro Needling stimulates the body's own collagen production to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, thread veins, pigmentation & scaring. It also results in smoother facial contours and brighter skin.

The micro needling device is used on the face after the application of a local anaesthetic numbing cream. It produces thousands of micro needling columns  in the skin that penetrates the dermis. After the procedure the body starts to naturally repair the skin. The collagen and skin cell regrowth also enhances the blood flow to the area.

The procedure takes 20-30 minutes following the application of a topical anaesthetic which takes 30 minutes to work.

It can take up to 6 weeks for visible signs of repair and rejuvenation. This process will continue over the following months providing a natural and long lasting enhancement.

The skin will have the appearance of moderate sunburn after the treatment, this will start to subside within 1-2 hours and recover within 24 hours. A sun block must be worn in daylight hours for 2 weeks following this treatment. In the days following the treatment the skin may feel drier than normal as it begins to repair and rejuvenate.

All clients will get a complimentary initial consultation appointment and an individual treatment plan/prescription.

The client will return for the treatment of choice (allowing for an individual prescription and time for reflection and further discussion if needed).
